Dr. Nazeer is an associate professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, NY and Qatar, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with subspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. As the division chief, Dr. Nazeer leads the CAMHS at Sidra Medicine in Qatar and has been instrumental in developing mental health policies for children and adolescents and establishing services in various settings. Dr. Nazeer has extensively published on topics such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Internet Addiction, Substance Use Disorders, ADHD, Schizophrenia, and Childhood Anxiety Disorders. He chairs the WPA (2020-2023), SAARC Psychiatric Federation (SPF), and the Asian Federation of Psychiatric Association (AFPA) task force for the advancement of child and adolescent mental health services in low to middle-income countries. In this role, he has developed youth suicide prevention guidelines for Indonesia and Pakistan.
