Dr. Abhay Saraf has more than three decades of rich experience with Government of India, WHO, UNICEF, Public Health Foundation of India, Symbiosis International University & IQVIA in various leadership roles. Being passionate about capacity building, Dr. Saraf has developed, and launched more than 30 education programmes in various domains in the area of public health, clinical and allied health sciences domain.

He has also successfully led planning and implementation of nationwide Certificate Course on Evidence Based Diabetes Management, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, Contraception in Clinical Practice and Immunization Practice, covering more than 20 states, 80 cities and facilitated training of around 8000 PMPs across entire country in partnerships with DMDEA, FOGSI, IAP, CHF, UNFPA and UNICEF.

A recipient of accolades and awards from various agencies, professional organizations and the government for outstanding work in the field of training, operational research, IEC, service delivery and program management. Dr. Saraf has also led numerous projects with various state governments in India and international organizations and academic institutions like MEASURE Evaluation, University of North Carolina, USAID, University College of London, and The Nossal Institute for Global Health, Australia (AUSAID), UNFPA, FOGSI, CHF, DMDEA, IAP, World Bank, DFID, Janssen & Janssen and UNICEF for technical partnerships in various states across the country nationally and internationally.

Dr. Saraf has extensively traveled and spoken at national and international fora and conferences and has guided post-graduate and PhD students.
