Prof. Darwish is a lecturer in civil engineering at the University of Greater Manchester, UK, where he has delivered undergraduate and postgraduate modules in business management, strategic management, environmental management, aeronautical engineering, artificial intelligence, and mechanical engineering. he is a professor and program leader at Excelia Group, La Rochelle Business School, France, where he teaches strategic management tools and techniques, international strategic management, and production management since 2014. With experience in research supervision, Prof Darwish has successfully supervised 20 PhD and over 60 MSc candidates, and a similar number of undergraduate dissertations. He is currently supervising 15 PhD students. His primary research interests include renewable energy, wind energy system design and management, strategic management, artificial intelligence applications, and environmental management. A recognized leader in renewable energy. Prof Darwish serves as Chair of the Wind Energy Committee within the steering committee of the World Renewable Energy Network (WREN), UK. He has designed and built a multi-bladed several mechanical, aeronautical, and renewable energy laboratories. Prof Darwish has published over 160 research papers and contributed chapters to three books, reinforcing his reputation as a leading expert in renewable energy, aerodynamics, and strategic management.
