Igor Strakovsky, PhD

Igor Strakovsky is an experimentalist in fundamental nuclear and particle physics. He received a doctoral degree from the Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute in 1984 and worked as a research scientist at PNPI before joining Virginia Tech in 1992 and then The George Washington University in 1997. His research is hadronic and electromagnetic physics and nuclear structure. Now his main experimental focus is on Jefferson Lab and the future EIC at BNL. He authored the book, Modern Muon Physics: Selected Issues.
