ABSTRACT

In this issue of the Journal of Alternative Medicine Research, we present various psychological and physiological aspects of pediatric lung disease. One of the topics covered is the damage that 21st century vaping can do to the lungs that can lead to a life of addiction to cannabis, nicotine and many other drugs of abuse. It reflects the struggle of Homo sapiens with dangerous drugs since the beginning of humanity’s existence. In the account of the forbidden tree attributed to the writings of Moses, Father of many religions (Abrahamic religions) from around 1400 BCE, we learn that some material found on earth are dangerous to consume in any way (1-3). Perhaps this warning from the Creator of the universe was that humans who become consumed by addictive drugs can no longer worship their Creator. Cannabis represents one of many addictive substances that humans have long consumed and became damaged by its powerful addictive as well as harmful qualities (4-6).
