ABSTRACT

In this journal issue, we cover important aspects of mental illnesses in children and youth that includes use of pharmacologic agents for some of these problems. As we apply these medications for our children and youth, we must remember what knowledge of the past has taught us about providing medications to help human beings. An example is found in the descriptions of the springs of Dilmun and the Garden of Eden.
