ABSTRACT

Vaccination for the prevention of COVID-19 is an important deterrent measure, especially for children who are more prone to infection. The appearance of allergy following the vaccination or pain around the injection area are common issues, especially among children. In order to investigate this issue, we decided to look at published papers with attention to COVID-19 vaccination among children, including the advantages and disadvantages. The search keywords included vaccination, children, COVID-19, prevention and physical pain. It is concluded that, although there is a painful area after injection of COVID-19 vaccination, the positive effects of this action in boosting the immune system are more important.
