The important role of nurses during and after COVID-19 is obvious for everyone. Not only regarding their professional tasks, but also about their kind consultations to relief the patients and their family. Most of the patients were scared about their symptoms and it could result in physical and psychological pain for them and also their family. This review paper aimed to collect the valid and practical data in this regard based on the published papers. For this purpose, Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed and Google Scholar were the main sources. Based on the results of those papers, it was concluded that, nurses have a key role in management of different kinds of pain among patients and also their family. Unfortunately, there is a lack of attention to the main role of nurses regarding the prevention of physical and psychological pain among patients and there is a need for more and deep research in this regard.
