The design of innovative nuclear power plants requires new and powerful analysis tools. The Multi-Physics Modelling (MPM) approach is being more and more considered as a significant tool for this purpose, since it gives the possibility to perform realistic simulations where different fields of physics can be coupled in the same computational scheme. This book provides an overview of the MPM approach applied to the study of the Lead Fast Reactor (LFR), which is one of the six new concepts proposed by the Generation IV International Forum (GIF-IV).
