This book contains seven chapters that detail the culture of team sports. Chapter One aims to evaluate the relational, emotional, tactical, and conditional dimensions of the game of tag. Chapter Two analyzes the relationships between pre-match well-being scores and high-intensity locomotor activities during official matches in professional soccer players. Chapter Three provides a guide to nutrition for children and adolescents in sports. Chapter Four aims to systematically summarize primary school-based team sport programs and their effects evaluated through randomized-controlled trials design. Chapter Five evaluates young footballers’ tactical and conditional responses during a new and complex large-sided game. The goal of Chapter Six is to synthesize information regarding the importance, training methods, and evaluation of Change-of-Direction (COD) ability development in team sports. Lastly, Chapter Seven analyzes the specific relationships between fitness tests in professional soccer players.
