The structure of this book allows you to learn in a simple and understandable way, at least that is the intention of the author, the central content and the fundamentals of the original message of the Templar Knighthood, beyond the fictional, folk, bizarre, false, and misleading aspects.

The analysis of the profound and original motivations that underlie the movement of the Knights of the Temple, as well as the historical and social context, are essential elements not only for understanding the spirit of knighthood but also for recognizing the reasons for the rapid spread of this organization and its role in the military, economic, and spiritual history of medieval Europe.

The book is a commentary and analysis to the treatise “Liber ad Milites Templi de Laude Novae Militiae” that St. Bernard de Clairvaux wrote in Latin nine centuries ago and dedicated to the Knights of the Temple. For this commentary the author has used the catechetical formula just to underline the attempt to make the book easy to understand for the reader.

This book is even more interesting since the author, in addition to clearly explain who they were and how they lived the Knights of the Temple, belongs to the Venerabilis Ordo Sancti Sepulchri, still operating till today. (Imprint: Nova)
