This volume includes eight chapters that detail progress in education. Chapter 1 examines how strong university and college leaders achieve educational progress despite constant financial and operational unknowns. Chapter 2 explores how environmental interest emerges among students through their lived experiences. Chapter 3 focuses on narrative analysis, providing a high-level overview of commonly used methods will be provided, with a few discussed in greater detail. Chapter 4 proposes the urgent need to create learning environments that draw attention to the multisensorial nature of the body as intimately connected to the natural environment for urban regeneration. Chapter 5 presents a student-centered approach to providing feedback on writing assignments in college writing courses, contributing to the existing research on the significance and benefits of effective instructor feedback. Chapter 6 invites readers to rethink curriculum redesign not as a technical reshuffling of subjects but as a strategic shift in how learners construct meaning across disciplines, contexts, and time, responding to the persistent mismatch between fragmented school learning and the interconnected nature of real-world problems. Chapter 7 describes the development, structure, and impact of the Global Health Track at the department of Pediatrics, University of Florida College of Medicine–Jacksonville, a longitudinal track established to foster global engagement through education, research, community partnerships, and international collaboration. Finally, chapter 8 offers a structured overview of key GenAI platforms/tools and their potential applications in teaching, research and student support.
