ABSTRACT

This review looks at various critical issues in pediatric pulmonology beginning with newborn pulmonology. Another section considers the intertwine of psychology and physiology in the pulmonology tract. Behavioral aspects of chronic disease, including the pulmonary system, are considered because of the importance that chronic pulmonary disease has on the child and adolescent. This paper outlines some of the progress in pulmonology that slowly developed as intelligent and inquisitive scholars identified key concepts in pulmonology physiology.
