Most cases of kidney cancers are now found via CT scan or abdominal ultrasound when patients are seeking help for other unrelated conditions. Consequently, the common use of such imaging by physicians in the past decade has become greatly beneficial toward identifying questionable kidney masses in patients. However, these tests still lack the ability to differentiate between cancerous and non-cancerous masses. This book presents current research in the study of kidney cancer, with a particular focus on the symptoms, diagnosis and treatments of this disease. (Imprint: Nova)
