ABSTRACT

In 2004, Professor Luo obtained his bachelor degree of environmental science in Xiamen University. Then he further pursued his studies in the University of South Carolina and obtained a master degree of marine microbiology in 2008. Fascinated by the wonders of organisms, Professor Luo continued his studies and was awarded a Ph.D. of molecular evolution at the same university in 2010. Then he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Georgia through 2014. In 2015, he started his own lab in the School of Life Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He is currently an assistant professor.
