ABSTRACT

The dramatic workplace transformation created by the pandemic caused by the novel Coronavirus forced millions of employees to work from home, impacting work and family culture. Working from home, physical distancing, online education and virtual meetings have become the “New normal norm” of life, and audiologists and speech-language pathologists are no exception. Hence, the present study aimed to explore the emerging trends and address the issues caused by the novel coronavirus on the professional practices of audiologists and speech-language pathologists in India. A 47-question survey was developed, and it was distributed electronically to the speech-language and hearing clinicians working in various setups. A total of 136 responses were obtained and analyzed to understand the impact.
