ABSTRACT

An arrhythmic storm (AS) belongs to serious, life-threatening and highly lethal medical emergencies. Acute management can be challenging despite undoubted progress of medicine. The purpose of this article is to highlight the pitfalls of AS management in case of ineffective conventional treatment and to recall the role of cardiac surgery in AS treatment.
