Abstract
Bullying is everywhere or at least it is an emerging item in many parts of the world. As we are becoming more aware of this serious public health issue, we are also being challenged with vital questions requiring prompt attention. To begin, one may wonder how many of the more than 900,000 world cases of death among young people, due to accidents, suicide or homicide are linked to a history of bullying. This inquiry should be included as part of psychological autopsies. We may also speculate about a link between bullying and runaway comorbidities, including HIV infection.
