ABSTRACT
The Division of Life Sciences, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology hosted the third Inter-University Post-Graduate Symposium 2012. This event was jointly organized with sister departments at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) with the aim of promoting inter-institutional and inter-disciplinary communications among postgraduate students and faculty members. The keynote speakers were Prof. Min HAN HHMI, Univ. of Colorado at Boulder, USA and Prof. Xi HE Children’s Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School, USA. Three awards for Oral Presentation (HK$1,000) and ten awards Poster Presentation (HK$500) were given this year.
