This review discusses chronic pancreatitis in pediatric patients starting with its definition and epidemiology. The focus is on the pathophysiology, etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnosis, differential diagnoses, laboratory studies, imaging studies, complications, and management. Pancreatitis is an important condition in the field of pediatric gastroenterology and general clinicians should have basic knowledge of this condition to help infants, children, and adolescents who develop this complex disorder.
