Abstract

Colony stimulating factors are extremely important substances in the human body that contribute to the formation and proliferation of white blood cells. Their number should be equal to the number of their physiological occurrence, because both too low and too high their concentration carries serious consequences. Many see them as an opportunity to treat cancer, and due to the fact that they naturally increase the leukocyte population, they are a worth considering method of fighting this serious disease. It will be the most natural and minimally invasive method that will be able to provide patients with greater comfort of therapy in the future.

Keywords: colony stimulating factors (CSF), multiple colony stimulating factor (MULTI-CSF), granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor GM-CSF), aacute myeloid leukemia (AML)
