ABSTRACT

Fossil fuel-based plastic continues to be an agonizing matter due to its vast continuous manufacturing and lack of proper disposal. Replacing the routine plastic-based products by eco-friendly biodegradable material-based products can be a small, but significant step towards plastic-free revolution. One such replacement can be done by using bamboo-based toothbrush in daily life. It can provide equally good oral hygiene provided the technique of brushing is correct. The aim of this chapter is to explicate the idea of using bamboo-based toothbrush in curtailing the plastic pollution.
