This volume includes seven chapters that detail advances in political science and international relations. Chapter 1 argues that fascism is a specific state form that emerges when bourgeois democracy becomes insufficient to sustain capitalist dominance during extraordinary periods characterized by deep economic crises and rising working-class movements. Chapter 2 focuses primarily on the age picture that emerges from the “Dunhill” reports and on the proper contextualisation of the recorded information. Chapter 3 proposes a framework for integrating digital tools into land governance that prioritizes equity, transparency, and community land rights. Chapter 4 utilizes India as a case study to illustrate that the nation’s antagonistic strategic stance towards China, compounded by border disputes, apprehensions regarding the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Maritime Silk Road (MSR), and Beijing’s increasing influence in South Asia and the Indian Ocean, has engendered the development of a primarily negative episteme. Chapter 5 examines three key historical moments—(1) the interwar period, (2) the phase of neoliberal globalisation inaugurated in the 1980s, and (3) the nationalist retreat of the last decade—with the aim of analysing the meanings and political uses acquired by the concept of cosmopolitanism. Chapter 6 examines the evolving dynamics of global governance in the context of shifting geopolitical landscapes, focusing on how emerging powers, multilateral institutions, and regional organizations contribute to the complexities of decision-making and cooperation on transnational issues such as climate change, security, and economic development. Finally, Chapter 7 provides key goals federal public managers working in the Trump Administration should pursue.
