This volume includes eight chapters that detail advances in health and disease. Chapter 1 provides a comprehensive overview of epidemiology, environmental and occupational conditions, and leading causes of carbon monoxide (CO) intoxication. Chapter 2 focuses specifically on transnasal endoscopic surgical management of orbital complications due to acute rhinosinusitis. Chapter 3 reviews the epidemiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic evaluation, and management of congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction in children, with particular attention to current surgical strategies and controversies regarding treatment timing and the role of silicone stenting after dacryocystorhinostomy. Chapter 4 describes the mechanism of the TAM RTK and signalling pathways interaction in hematological malignancies. Chapter 5 addresses AMR as a prospective pandemic and provides a summary of challenges and developments for the diagnosis of AMR. Chapter 6 explores the application of AI in clinical practice in dentistry, and the ethical approach and training necessary to ensure that ethical principles are always respected. Chapter 7 presents the findings of two studies conducted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia among medical students, who represent the future of healthcare, focusing on their knowledge, attitudes, and ethics regarding organ and tissue donation, stem cell transplantation, and related research. Finally, Chapter 8 focuses on ventricular tachycardia (VT), primarily, ischemic scar-related VT.
