This volume includes eight chapters that detail advances in health and disease. Chapter one highlights recent advances in minimally invasive VLNT with a particular focus on VOLT. Chapter two gives a comprehensive review of structure and function of perforin, its association with diverse human diseases including SLE-MAS, and associated CD8+ T and NK cell dysfunction in such conditions. The authors of chapter three use the method of gravitational mass spectroscopy (GMS) to study the state of the genomes of the Influenza A and HSV-1 viruses in the organisms of two probants of the same family. Chapter four provides a comprehensive overview of the recent developments in RSM, emphasizing its utility in drug formulation, design, and optimization. The authors of chapter five explore the detrimental effects of depleted uranium (DU) on the environment, as well as the many radiological and biological implications. Chapter six investigates the mechanism of the second stage of treatment of prostate hyperplasia using non-invasive biophysics and biochemistry (destruction of adenoma). Chapter seven describes a new approach for processing surgically retrieved specimens using differential centrifugation. Chapter eight presents gravitational mass spectroscopy (GMS) data on the molecular structure in the local function of the right hemisphere of the brain (LFP-1) responsible for controlling the prostate.
