This book will discuss advances in environmental research. Chapter 1 follows an understanding of municipal solid waste (MSW) disposal, and how it poses a global challenge due to the large volume produced daily. Chapter 2 explores the use of high-tech methods in conservation, focusing on the relationship between technology, biology, and ethics. Chapter 3 discusses the benefits of eco-innovation, and how leading countries are investing in it. Chapter 4 reviews a study that covers the environmental impacts of the pig-farming systems in Vietnam. Chapter 5 dives into the benefits of Phyto-purification as a technique for wastewater treatment. Chapter 6 uses a study to explore the use of heterogeneous photocatalytic oxidation for treating textile wastewater, a significant source of water pollution. Finally, Chapter 7 reviews oxidative stress biomarkers following copper (Cu) exposure in fish, its mechanism of action and deleterious effects.
