This volume includes four chapters that detail advances in energy research. The main objective of chapter 1 is to adjust the physical foundations and determine the possibility of creating safe, high-power, fast reactors in the near future. Chapter 2 explores the development of a marine energy system tailored for decarbonization using hydrocarbon feedstocks and ammonia, integrating solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) with a gas turbine. For chapter 3, the utilization of mixed-cation lead mixed-halide perovskites, [FAxCs(1-x) Pb(Ix Br(1-x) )3](x=0.85), as an active layer demonstrates improved stability and enhanced optical performance. In chapter 4, a novel path finder algorithm (NPFA) is proposed for peak power generation from solar arrays under non-homogeneous irradiations.
