This book contains eight chapters that detail advances in energy research. Chapter One focuses on the utilization of Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) ceramics and PU/PZT composites for energy harvesting. Chapter Two offers a scenario analysis of fusion power penetration into the electric energy market. The aim of Chapter Three is to spur more research to discuss and develop new synthetic strategies and additional applications of anion exchange membranes (AEMs) in electrochemical energy storage. Chapter Four proposes grid-forming and two-layer controls for virtual power plants (VPPs) in distribution systems. Chapter Five discusses multi-point fuel injection systems in detail. Chapter Six proposes an integrated approach to the production and management of methane and hydrogen. Chapter Seven explores the potential of a solar heat supply system equipped with flat solar collectors, a storage tank for storing a heat source, and a heat pump for heating the premises of small buildings located in three different cities of Central Asia. Lastly, Chapter Eight gives a possible explanation for the experimentally observed anomalous physical phenomenon of the low-energy transmutation of atomic nuclei of chemical elements in carbon-hydrogen plasma.
