This volume includes six chapters that detail advances in business and management. Chapter 1 analyzes the relationship examines technological innovation, competitive advantage, and the survival of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Chapter 2 examines the application, effectiveness, and implementation challenges of virtual reality (VR) training in blue economy sectors from 2000 to 2025. Chapter 3 examines how Luxury Brand Image (LBI), Sustainability Claims (SC), and Brand Trust (BT) influence Consumer Perception of Sustainability (CPS) and Consumer Purchase Decisions (CPD). Chapter 4 examines adoption pathways for a photocatalysis-based greywater recycling technology developed in Spain, addressing a persistent user-visibility gap in early-stage system design, namely, how to build a trustworthy solution when intended users’ acceptance thresholds, proof requirements, and responsibility interpretations are insufficiently understood. We combine two complementary empirical modules. Chapter 5 answers the question of whether AI-enabled tools such as predictive analytics and machine learning can ever augment or displace conventional SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) models. Finally, chapter 6 examines all the blocks of the digital business model canvas (DiBMC), this is an evolution of the business model canvas (BMC) that considers two additional blocks related to digital transformation and labelled ‘digital technologies for customer engagement’ and ‘digital technologies for digitized solutions.’
