ABSTRACT

One of the main issues that the environment and society are largely dealing with is air pollution. Reviewing probable causes of air pollution and mitigation techniques is the goal of the current study. The main causes of air pollution were emissions, transportation dispersion, transformation, and immisions. It was discovered that various sources of pollution affect both indoor and outdoor environments. It has been discovered that air pollution adversely affects human health, mostly with regard to respiratory disorders. There was discussion of various mitigation techniques to lower air pollution levels. Reducing reliance on fossil fuels and increasing walking and bicycling journeys have been shown to significantly lower air pollution levels and have positive health effects.
